I don’t do acrylic or paintings of any kind that often, but I wish I did because this is one of my favorites I’ve ever done.

Several years ago I wanted to try to paint because I never had before. This was the first painting I made. I think it’s fitting that I tried to do something complex for my first one. Go big or go home, right?

And for some reason I focused on the story of Alice in Wonderland. Before this painting I had not even draw a picture of Alice or any of the characters from the story. But, I did like it. And out came this surreal image of most of the characters juxtaposed next to every element of the story that I could fit onto the canvas.
