Something else I’ve learned about writing content though is that you have to break it up with pictures. No one likes too look at PURE TEXT. I used to do that in the beginning where I'd really halfass what I wrote on my blog. Essentially just be slapping my name on it and that was it. Definitely content is the way to go if you want people to stick around. Also great idea about notifying certain artists if you've written about them. I've been thinking about that for awhile. I'd also say submit your art to sites that you feel are close to what you're doing. Some sites take time to publish it but if they've got a large amount of traffic, it may be worth it.
